???Suspension cone???
im sorry to say that you cant get the old rubber cone out without removing the upper suspension arm, and even if somehow you manage to, i did with saopy water and a large prybar, but it is very dangerous and besides after i did it i realised tyhe new cone wouldnt fit in a million years, i had to dismantle the upper suspension arm which is packed full of roller bearings and a threadded bolt through it that doesn't budge very easily....prepare for replacing most of the bits in the top suspension arm, believe me.........what i have found is that the whole broken-cone thing happened to me because i had no rebound buffer in place and the actual upper suspension arm folds down a little too far and the trumpets falls in,........generally this only really happens when you launch your mini all 4 wheels off the floor over some crazy bridge in the country, (oops!), but it does happen with worn cones nonetheless....hope this helps....
long live the MINI, kill the BINI(bmw rubbish)

Front Subframe Preperation
Hello people...
I have removed my engine/subframe from my mini. i am in the middle of rebuilding the engine... the shell has just been painted, and the next thing on my to do list is to get the subframe back in.
i have bought a new set of rubber cones, with hi-los, and a complete set of poly-bushes.
1 ~ The new bumpstops are smaller than the others- does this matter?
2 ~ The new top rebound buffers are all rubber, and has no hole, but an outline of a hole... has the hole not been cut out properly?, and also, the old 1 has a metal plate, the new 1 doesnt- and it is smaller
3 ~ When i fit the hi-los on the front, what adjustment should i have?
Thanks Guys...
